MANGLED HEARTS #1
- SYNOPSIS -
Francesca and Cade

Can two loves find their way back to each other despite an addiction and a hardened heart? Will their love overcome it all?

At sixteen years old, I was insecure and quiet. I didn’t make friends very well. Girls were mean to me, though at the time I didn’t know why. Every day at school I read between classes, at lunch, and after while I waited for my second bus. The school bus dropped me off at the bus stop. Pathetic, huh?

 It was a hot September day that changed my life forever. Nothing about me would be the same. Ever. I walked to the bench, oblivious to my surroundings. My nose was stuck in my current romance novel. I followed along as the girl fell in love with her best friend (the bad boy), wishing life was really that way. I didn’t even notice when he walked by me.

 Or when he stopped a few yards from me, and came back in my direction to take a seat beside me.

 “Hey. Do you want a cracker?” he velvet voice asked me.

 I didn’t look up, I wasn’t sure if he was even talking to me. Why would an attractive senior be talking to me?

 “Hey, I’m talking to you,” he said, a chuckle in his voice.

 I slowly lifted my head, peering at him from under my long lashes. His dark brown hair swept across his forehead and his deep blue eyes made me gasp. He wore the ultimate laid back style, a white t-shirt and jeans. All he needed was a black leather jacket and he would be the bad boy from my book. The smile on his face was breathtaking, and I found myself unable to speak.

 “Hi, I’m Cade,” he said, a huge grin on his handsome face.

 “Hi, I’m Francesca.”

ENTANGLED SOULS #2
- SYNOPSIS -
Mangled Hearts become Entangled Souls 

Cade is on the road to recovery with Francesca’s love and support guiding him. His life is changing drastically, from attempting to mend the rift between he and his father, to trying to have a normal relationship with his now fiancé. Most of all, Cade must find a way to control his urges so he can be completely released from rehabilitation. 

Francesca is building her law firm with the help of those she loves most, but when a close friend reveals her true feelings about Francesca's engagement, it sends her emotions into a tailspin. Through all of this, she is forced to put her feelings on the back burner for everyone else, until the anniversary of Josie’s accident rolls around. Francesca must learn to put herself first before she falls apart. 

In this novella, join Cade and Francesca as they explore their relationship and begin their lives together.

Joint review: Mangled Hearts + Entangled Souls
Having read Felicia Tatum's other series, The White Aura, I knew I had to check out these books. Boy, I'm glad I did. I am a huge fan of second-chance romances so these books were right up my alley. Cade and Francesca's story made my heart ache. I wanted them to work everything out. I needed it like it was my own happily ever after. And that's one of the wonderful things about this author: her writing style. She always allows me to connect not only with the characters, but with their story. It's as if I am right there with them through all the ups and downs, the joys and heartaches. Overcoming all their issues - their inner demons - was not easy for Cade and Fanscesca, let me tell you, but it made their story that much better and realistic. A must read for sure!! Go grab your copies!


ANXIOUS HEARTS #3
- SYNOPSIS -
Daphne and Zander

Can two lost souls find a way to be together? Will they see love isn’t something only a few people have, but something they can attain as well?

Daphne Waterman is a happy-go-lucky interior designer by day, but has a secret. Hiding her condition from everyone around her, she struggles with her emotions and thoughts alone, until one of her one night stands turns out to be in the wedding of her best friend, Francesca Taymon. 

Zander McKinney came into a lot of money recently. As his life is turned upside down, he struggles to make the changes to live the life he wants instead of the one everyone wants for him. When a raven haired beauty slips into his bed and steals his heart, he knows he’ll never be the same.

Will he be able to break through her walls and make her see love isn’t an illusion? Can he tame her anxious heart?

BOUND SOULS #4
- SYNOPSIS -
Zander McKinney’s life has changed drastically during the last few months and he’s coming to terms with his new reality. When the most amazing of changes happens, will he be able to handle his new responsibilities? Will he be able to convince Daphne his feelings are true despite her denial?

Daphne Waterman’s world is in chaos as everything she thought she knew shifts in her new, unexpected but welcomed direction. As she refocuses her priorities and slips into her new role in life, she faces her demons and fights to win her inner battles. Will she be able to cope with her feelings for Zander while adjusting to her new life? 

Anxious hearts are tamed and souls are forever bound.

Joint review: Anxious Hearts +  Bound Souls
While these two installments follow other characters, Zander and Daphne, both introduced previously, I still recommend you start from the beginning because it will enhance your overall experience. Felicia Tatum can't write a bad story line. She can't. So just know that you really should read this series. 

What Daphne thought would be a one-time thing, little did she know would end up changing her life. There is a serious topic developed and I applaud Felicia Tatum for doing it tactfully and beautifully. Very well written. It's not a topic commonly seen in books so it was a refreshing detail. Zander and Daphne's story was truly a page-turner for me and I was extremely glad to have had both installments handy because I need to see how their story unfolded. Just like with Fransesca and Cade, I connected with Zander and Daphne and really wanted them to sort everything out.   I really don't want to give anything away because you should really check these books out, but do know that I am extremely glad I chose to review for this tour. 

This series is a must for all romantics that love a good story where the happy ending doesn't come easily for the characters. :)

Felicia Tatum was born and raised in Tennessee. She always loved reading, and at the age of twelve began writing. Her passion for creating stories grew and in May 2012, she finally wrote her first novel, The White Aura.

She still lives in Tennessee with her daughter and her kitty. She loves cooking, books, and animals are some of her best friends. She watches a lot of Disney channel and often dreams up new book ideas. She's currently working on various projects. She's the author of the White Aura series, Scarred Hearts series, and Intoxicating Passion series.
